Lucy's Vision
The Salon
Lucy believes that the relationship between a client and stylist should be open, honest and non-judgmental. She also believes in going the extra mile to provide exceptional care and service to each guest in her chair. Using this as her guide she has created a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment where clients of all walks of life can come and feel safe and cared for whilst getting their hair done.
The Team
Each member of Lucys' team is carefully picked by her for their communication and client skills, their ability to meet her vision with an open, non judgmental and caring nature and their willingness to put 110% effort into their work and training. Lucy's team of junior hairdressers and exceptionally and intensely trained by her in the methods she uses to ensure a high standard of skill and care throughout the entire apprentice journey.
Due to the high level of training, the apprentices are far beyond their perceived "level" of skillset of a standard apprenticeship, making them massive assets to both the salon and clients.
All clients receive a high level of skilled service even when booking with one of our juniors.
The Products
There is definately no "one range fits all" when it comes to colour despite many companies believing theirs is "the one". Lucy has trialed and tested hundreds of colour ranges over her years of hairdressing to find the ones that she just cannot work without. Being a ONE range only salon, like many salons are, creates so many restrictions and limits creative freedom so therefore the studio stocks three full colour ranges: Natural Look -LuminArt, Base and Bhave to ensure that whatever your goal colour is, there will always be a perfect match or solution to get you to your dream hair!
Along with multiple colour lines, the salon also stocks two retail ranges, Eleven Australia and Natural Look and two Plex/Bonding solutions for ultimate hair repair: Structure plexx, and K18
Our Stylists
Meet Lucy
Lucy-Anne has been in the hair and beauty industry for 22 years. During this time she has endured and overcome extreme obstacles in the path of her career and personal life. Her strength, resilience, discipline and motivation is what makes her the passionate and dedicated hairdresser she is today.
Lucy takes on each of her salon guests not only as a hair client but also helping nurture their wellbeing and emotion as a support peer or friend would. By becoming more emotionally invested in her clients she is able to then apply her skills to help provide hair services, care and advice that will ACTUALLY suit her clients true lifestyle and needs.
Over the years Lucy has grown herself to be highly skilled in ALL aspects of hair, but colouring is where her passion and strength lies. Through ongoing intensive research, training and trialing the many products available on the market, Lucy has developed and fine tuned herself to become extremely educated in hair lightening, colour removal, grey blending and dramatic colour changes, all of which she specialises in.
Lucy is well known for her ability to carefully and dramatically take her clients from dark to light and one end of the colour wheel to the other with expert skill, usually, only in one day sitting. She is in high demand and books out fast so do expect a wait time if requesting an appointment with her - the wait will be worth it.
Due to her skill, Lucy was sought out by an Australian colour and product company - ARTAV Australia who have several product lines in South Australia including Natural Look Hair/ Skin products and Luminart Colour Cream - To be their Colour Technician, Educator and Trainer for WA. When Lucy is not in salon, she is out representing Luminart AU, sharing her knowledge and passion by training other hairdressers and holding classes on Colour Education.

Tahni - Emerging Apprentice
Starting off as a Salon Assistant while completing year 10 at school, Tahni showed the motivation and skill needed to take her career to the next level and during the summer holidays before she was due to start Year 11 at school we got her signed up to her apprenticeship.
Halfway through her training, Tahni has gained significant salon experience in toning, treatments, blonding and Colour work and is now focused on fine tuning her skills in preparation for her final year of training.

Georgia - Junior Apprentice
Starting off her hair career later in life, Georgia is undergoing a part time Mature age (adult) apprenticeship around life as a mum
Georgia has an amazing way of connecting with her clients while starting to practice her newly learned skills. She has already gained significant salon experience in toning, treatments, and Colour work and is currently building her skills in foiling and blonding

Georgia is always needing models to assist her with checking off newer skills, but is also beginning to grow a steady clientele to support her new career path.
